Operations Manager ATS Ireland (Full Time)

ATS IE (Ireland) is building a team of experienced Manufacturing IT specialists to service contracts in Ireland and work with ATS Global on international initiatives. Current need is for an Operations Manager for Ireland, based in Cork city.

The Position

In this role, the Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring ATS IE runs efficiently and in compliance with business rules as defined by ATS Global and Irish regulations.

The operations manager will monitor current processes, procedures and create strategies to improve them where they see fit. Initiating and managing marketing + sales strategies will be a key aspect of the role. The role will also encompass the hiring, training and overall supervision of new and current employees.

The Person

  • Business administration background with a flair for marketing + sales

  • Good communication skills, a team player, ability to energize

  • Business acumen in a technical environment

  • Exposure to manufacturing IT technologies

  • Exposure to enterprise level large-scale applications

ATS Applied Tech Systems Ltd. (ATS Ireland) was formed in January 2012 and is supported by ATS International B.V. (ATS Global).

ATS Ireland will operate from their Cork office in Webworks, Eglinton Street. 

The company is primarily seeking to hire manufacturing engineers with software implementation experience.  In 2013 positions will be offered to graduates who will be trained on specific software solutions.  Roles will also be available for quality, automation, software development, sales and business administration.
